Item Stat Scaling

The inventory stat UI derives live item stats from encoded Warcraft item fields. The object tooltip can be stale; these formulas match the stat triggers.

Encoded Fields

iuse ITEM_IF_NUMBER_OF_CHARGES Three digits: guaranteed amount rank, quality rank, upgrade rank
iclr ITEM_IF_TINTING_COLOR_RED Guaranteed stat type
ipri ITEM_IF_PRIORITY Main stat slot 1, encoded as stat code + unused digit + multiplier rank
ilev ITEM_IF_LEVEL Main stat slot 2, encoded as stat code + unused digit + multiplier rank
icid ITEM_IF_COOLDOWN_GROUP Sub stat slot, encoded as stat code + unused digit + multiplier rank
item user data GetItemUserData Dynamic sub stat slot assigned by some drop systems
iclg ITEM_IF_TINTING_COLOR_GREEN Weapon damage seed or armor/health seed depending on item prefix

Guaranteed Amounts By Quality

Amounts below use upgrade rank 1, matching many generated gear defaults. The formula is basestat[amount_rank] * (quality_multiplier[quality_rank] + quality_multiplier[upgrade_rank] - 1).
